The Fountain of Youth is a legendary spring believed to have the power to halt or reverse aging.
Tales of this miraculous body of water have originated in places ranging from Japan to England to the Caribbean.
Perhaps the most famous legend associated with the Fountain of Youth is sixteenth-century Spanish explorer Juan Ponce de Leon’s quest to locate the enchanted elixir. Each year many people flock to tourist destinations claiming to be the home of the Fountain of Youth for a chance to sample the age-defying waters.
Like Ponce de Leon, Robert Campbell has been on his own quest to halt the aging process – and here is what he recommends:
1. Stop drinking and smoking (or never start).
2. Lift weights 2-3 times a week. Focus on your legs. Upper body strength makes you look strong, lower body strength makes you invincible.
3. Run or fast walk 10-15 miles a week.
4. Eat real foods. Not processed foods.
5. Ditch seed oils. Use tallow, lard, butter.
6. Sleep 7+ hours.
7. Get sunlight or take Vitamin D.
8. Get a dog – or preferably two beagles.
9. Laugh a lot. None of us are getting out of this alive.
10. Consistency is the key to superior health and anti-aging. Once you start, never stop.
