September 17, 2022 Seminar

How I Stopped Worrying
& Learned to Love Inflation

Inflation is back – and with a vengeance.

For the first time since the late 1970s and early 1980s, the rising cost of goods and services has become a serious risk to both the economy and the markets.

Some experts, however, believe that deflation – and not inflation – is the greater danger.

Inflation occurs when the price of goods and services rise, while deflation occurs when those prices decrease.

The balance between these two economic conditions, opposite sides of the same coin, is delicate – and history shows that an economy can quickly change from one to the other.

How to Decide What to Invest In

Will California home prices fall 50% from current levels – or will they double?

No one has a crystal ball (or time machine) and knows for sure how the events of the next years will unfold – but you can study the lessons of history and know what key indicators to focus on.

Armed with that information, this seminar will help you think through your decisions to buy, to sell or to hold – and to sleep at night without worrying about what will likely occur in the coming months and years.

We all know that you cannot change the direction of the wind, but you can adjust your sails – and that’s what my September 17, 2022 seminar is all about: how to adjust your portfolio to changing market conditions.

What You’ll Learn at this Seminar

  • Whether inflation or deflation is more likely – and could we have both?
  • Should you focus on price appreciation – or cash flow?
  • How inflation and deflation affect housing prices.
  • Should you be invested in real estate – or are other asset classes likely to produce higher inflation-adjusted returns?
  • The role of the Fed – and how it will likely respond to rising levels of inflation as well as the threat of deflation.
  • A historical case for high/hyper-inflation – and why it could happen again.
  • If the future continues to resemble the past, what are the investments that will be priced very differently than they are now?
