California residents are fleeing to states like Florida, Arizona, and Texas in record numbers.
Now, billboards in San Francisco and Los Angeles are begging them to stay.
In 2021, it is estimated that over 360,000 people left California.
Why People are Leaving
With the median price of a detached single-family home at $833,910 in July 2022 – up 2.8% year-over-year – most Californians departing the state cite housing affordability as the main reason.
Other reasons include high state taxes and the far-left “woke” rhetoric coming from the state’s political leaders.
